The Fender Dual Showman is a high-powered clean amplifier designed for maximum headroom and stage volume. Originally introduced in 1962 with an 85-watt output through dual 15-inch JBL speakers, it was built to be heard in large venues without breaking up. George Thorogood paired his ES-125 with a Silverface-era Dual Showman and never looked back — the amp's clean power and midrange clarity let the guitar's P-90 pickups do the work while providing the volume needed for fifty years of relentless touring.
