Moog Etherwave Theremin

The theremin is the world's first electronic instrument, played by moving hands near two antennas that control pitch and volume without physical contact. Jimmy Page incorporated the theremin into Led Zeppelin's live performances, using it during extended improvisations in 'Whole Lotta Love' and 'No Quarter' to create eerie, swooping electronic sounds that contrasted dramatically with the band's heavy blues-rock. Page's theatrical gestures while playing the theremin became a visual highlight of Zeppelin concerts, adding an element of electronic experimentation to their otherwise guitar-dominated performances.
