The Digitech FreqOut is a natural feedback creator that generates harmonic feedback at any volume, eliminating the need for a cranked amp to achieve sustaining overtones. Seven feedback types range from low sub-harmonic rumble to high-pitched squeals, selectable via a single knob. The onset control adjusts how quickly the feedback engages after a note is played, allowing everything from instant response to slow, swelling overtones. A gain knob sets the intensity of the effect. The FreqOut is particularly useful for shoegaze and noise rock players performing at lower stage volumes or in recording situations where amp feedback is impractical.
