The Story So Far formed in Walnut Creek, California in 2007, becoming one of the defining bands of the pop punk revival of the early 2010s. Vocalist Parker Cannon's aggressive delivery and the band's tight, melodic guitar work set them apart from contemporaries. Under Soil and Dirt (2011) and What You Don't See (2013) built a devoted following through relentless touring. Their self-titled album (2015) debuted at number 20 on the Billboard 200. Proper Dose (2018) showed a band pushing beyond pop punk formulas into more expansive rock territory. They remain one of the most consistent live draws in the scene.
