Heart formed in Seattle in 1970, built around sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson. Ann's extraordinary vocal power and Nancy's guitar playing made them one of the most distinctive acts of the classic rock era and the first major hard rock band fronted by women. Dreamboat Annie and Little Queen are two of the strongest debut-and-followup combinations in 1970s rock. Ann Wilson is routinely cited as one of the greatest rock vocalists in history.
