SRV Number One Stratocaster
Number One is the legendary 1963 Fender Stratocaster that Stevie Ray Vaughan played throughout his entire career. Originally a sunburst model with a rosewood fingerboard, the guitar was heavily modified over the years — its neck was replaced with a 1962 neck, the pickguard swapped for black, and SRV's signature stickers adorned the body. Strung with extraordinarily heavy .013 gauge strings and tuned down a half step, Number One produced the thick, aggressive tone that redefined what a Stratocaster could sound like. The guitar was buried with Vaughan after his death in 1990 and remains one of the most iconic instruments in blues history.
