Gibson Les Paul Custom (2001 White)

Justin Hawkins plays exclusively white 2001 Gibson Les Paul Customs live — he has multiple identical units to swap between songs requiring alternate tunings or if a string breaks. Both guitars are completely stock. Hawkins strikes near the neck with a hard plectrum, producing what Dan describes as a luxurious tone compared to his own barking Standards. In 2004 Gibson issued a limited run of Justin Hawkins signature Les Paul Customs based on the 1968 reissue with abalone and mother of pearl flame inlays.
